Sarah Suhonen has been a professional musician in San Diego for 13 years. She graduated with a B.A. in music from Azusa Pacific University. For 12 years, she has been the conductor of the Peninsula Singers, a 100 member Point Loma Community Choir. For nine years, she was the director of Contemporary music at La Jolla Presbyterian Church. She has performed professionally with San Diego theatre groups and choirs and teaches voice and piano lessons from her home in Del Cerro. Sarah’s husband, Mark, is a professional drummer and music producer and they own a recording studio together on their home property where Mark produces and records local indie and signed artists from LA and Nashville – both Christian and secular. They have two daughters – Cora and Ivy. Outside of music and spending time with family, Sarah likes to garden and work on home improvement projects.
